Phuket @ Weekend Market
After
visiting the big Buddha temple, we move to the night market near Chalong, which
take about 25 minutes journey from the big Buddha according to Neng.
In the early planning, we should go to Chalong Temple, as we were exhausted sitting at the van...LOL. I though if you really want to experience the local culture then night market is a great way to start for. For me, it hunting for food! ^…… ^

Variety of sweet and sour pickle... drooling... oh~~
BBQ
Such a lovely ice lolly made from local fruits... Try it!
This lady was selling passion fruit, fresh fruit with 100bht and 120bht each pack.
During
the food adventure to bangkok last year, I found this traditional desserts like
at every way.. So I guesses it’s a must try local snacks at Thailand. Likewise,
I found here, grilled-to-order taro cakes flavored with corn and shredded
coconut, pandan dumplings coated with coconut and filled with mung bean, custardy
grilled coconut cups, and sticky rice patties with coconut milk… Too sweet for
me, like eating melting marshmallow.. hahah
Dare to try!?
Fried fish cake.. Love it... Must try at Thailand too!
I
guesses it was like our Chinese style oyster eggs, but here come with more chooses, like oyster, squid, mussel etc and others filling that I don;t know... it turn out nicely like cut half egg shape, as cooked under molding..
